Activities as a framer

Azu’s X (Twitter) contributions began in June 2021.
Before he started AI illustration, he worked as a framer, creating beautiful frames with anime motifs 🌟
He is still active as both a creator and a framer.

Azu’s X postings are full of warmth and consideration for others, such as “a framed illustration as a gift to a mother and her children who work together.

Start of AI illustration generation

Azu started contributing AI illustrations in March 2023.
The reason for this was her desire to participate in the fan art of her favourite anime work ‘Violet Evergarden’, which led her to choose AI art as a method of expression that he could do and start her activities.

After that, Azu and her co-creator@Amaryllis_nft started AI art activities in earnest.
I felt that we are now in a wonderful era where even those who cannot draw can engage in new artistic activities through AI art ✨.

Then, in April 2023, they released their first NFT ‘blue eyes that quietly heal’.

This collection is based on the theme of gentleness and healing, with beautiful illustrations of blue-coloured eyes shining like sapphires.
The attention to the light falling on the illustrations and the close-up of the “eyes” are impressive.

Since then, he has continued to create memorial artwork on the theme of ‘a moment of happiness‘.

he creates AI art as if it were a poem. I feel that AI art is a point at which his unique sensibility shines through, even though it is difficult for his individuality to emerge.

Azu’s strengths

When generating AI illustrations, a wide variety of illustrations can be generated using various techniques and prompts, and it is tempting to take a detour, but Azu has continuously developed his activities without losing his artistic stance. Her attitude of sticking to her own concept is probably the reason why he is so likeable and loved by so many people.

He also has the ability to take action, and has participated as a supporting creator in the Colourful-School_Project, of which Hatsune Honoka (@honoka_nft)is a founder, and actively participates in AI artists’ events. This kind of dynamism is probably one of Azu’s strengths.

N-COLE (NFT COLOR) Exhibit.

Most creators work anonymously, and most exhibits at events are digital displays of illustrations or panel displays.

However, Azu had a booth and exhibited individually at the NFT’s exhibition ‘N-Colle’. Usually such activities are exhibited by communities or companies, but this is a very unusual PR method for an individual.
Azu’s ability to act in this way, which is no different from holding a solo exhibition, is remarkable: she is realising her physical x AI art activities.

Framer x AI Art

Azu is also still active as a framer and is good friends with Jun(@j_n103), a famous framer in the NFT industry, and they inspire each other.
AI creator’s works are also beautifully framed, and he says that he will “bridge physical art and digital art,” which I am sure will be realized. We look forward to his future activities.

Origin of Azu’s AI illustrations.

Actually, Azu-san had a connection with me before he started AI Art 😁.
The first NFT that Azu-san purchased was a collection called ‘Sakura Otome‘, and I had been interacting with her in that community.
At the time, ‘Sakura Otome‘ was very popular and was sold by lottery only, and Azu was successful in winning the right to purchase and receive her first NFT.

Subsequently, Azu framed Sakurame #347. I consider that work to be the starting point of Azu’s style, and if you look closely at Azu’s work, you will see the same characteristics found in Sakura Otome scattered throughout it. Please enjoy looking for similarities between Azu’s work and Sakura Otome.
