Encounter and heartwarming experience with the NFT art neighborhood.
Megumin entered the world of NFT and AI art in March 2023. She first started NFT for investment purposes. While gathering information using X (formerly Twitter), which she was unfamiliar with, she came across Shitone’s work and was fascinated by his wonderful illustrations.
When she tried to participate in Shitone‘s Free Mint (a giveaway of NFT), she was worried that she would not be able to participate because she did not have enough followers for X. That is when Shitone called her to participate. At that time, many people extended their support through Shitone-san’s call for help, and in the blink of an eye, the number of followers of X increased and I was able to participate in the Free Mint. She was deeply moved by everyone’s warmth.
NFT Purchase and Support Activities
In May 2023, through meeting many creators, she purchased and interacted with various NFTs. In the process, she rediscovered the warmth of the NFT community, and Megumi became actively involved in support activities.
FMGX_AI × Megumin freemint collaboration
Before starting AI illustration, NFT conducted a Free Mint collaboration with FMGX_AI (@FantaMiraGirlsR). Through this experience, NFT further expands its activities; while receiving support from FMGX for video production, we realized the power of followers and community help, which led us to pursue AI art.

ZOAN KINGDOM moderator activities
In June 2023, he started working as a moderator (administrator) on the Discord of THE ZOANTHROPE KINGDOM, a community started by Zo-san (@T_Z_Kingdom). In July, he expanded his activities within the community, organized a rumble (lottery), and took on the new challenge of listing his own AI illustration NFT for the first time.
Participation in Colorful Schools
From August, he will also participate in the Colorful-School_Project, for which Honoka Hatsune (@honoka_nft) is the Founder. While enjoying the activities of Karasuk, she has been appointed as a supporting creator and will develop even more diverse activities.
Amedama Project and Expanding Exchanges
In October, she was also involved in the Amedama Project, which has deepened her extensive interaction in the NFT community. Through her involvement in various projects and communities, Megumi has met more friends and continues to grow the NFT community along with her own personal growth.

Characteristics of Activities and Works
Megumin’s AI illustration activities are disseminated domestically through X, and she also focuses on overseas PR through English-language postings on Threads.
In her early works, she generated illustrations with various touches and tried a wide range of expressions, but now she has shifted to a style characterized by a simple color scheme and a light, gentle touch. She mainly produces transparent works based on the theme of innocent illustrations of high school girls, and has recently been working on works that lean more toward pop art.
Her “simple polka-dot” illustrations have also become a representative style of Megumi’s, and her gentle expressions have been well received by many people.
Rural Life x AI: Integration with Everyday Life
In addition to creating AI art, Megumin values rural life and living as a farmer. She shares this lifestyle on social networking sites under the title “Megumin ai! (daily life)” on social networking sites, where she shares daily events such as the last day of a three-day weekend or the harvest of new rice with her followers.

[Painting and I]
Growing up in a small town on the Sea of Japan coast of Aomori Prefecture, I was not good at drawing and had a hard time drawing as much as I wanted when I was a student. On the other hand, I had unconditional respect and envy for those who were good at drawing. After graduating from junior college, I moved to Tokyo with a strong yearning to live in Tokyo.
The sound of people’s footsteps coming and going, announcements echoing on the platforms, and so much information flooding in through my eyes and ears, Tokyo felt as if I had been reincarnated in another world. I did not dare to enter a café and gradually became a recluse except for neighborhood shopping. Later, I went to a school to obtain a nursing care qualification and spent a fulfilling six months with the friends I met there.
I was a little more mature and decided to go back to my hometown, and started NFT for the purpose of investing in the community. After being exposed to the warmth of the NFT community, his desire to “make money” was transformed into a desire to “support creators wholeheartedly.
Later, after meeting with FMGX_AI, he also took up the challenge of creating AI illustrations. At first, there were many situations where he could not depict hands or the number of balls as he wanted, but with the support of the community, he gradually made progress.
Drawing pictures had been “a longing from a far-off world,” but with AI illustrations, I was finally able to enjoy creation and take a step forward as a creator. Today, I continue to be active, meeting new people and expanding my circle of friends.
