I first came across Tsumasan when an illustration celebrating Tetsu’s (@Te2u_X) birthday popped up on X. The icon was drawn with such a soft touch that I thought it was absolutely lovely, so I decided to share it here.
OUTLINE
The NFT event has begun
Tsuma is a former graphic designer who is now working as an illustrator. She launched her blog and social media presence in August 2020, and since 2022, she has been actively creating NFT art and participating in the NFT community. Balancing parenting with her creative work, she engages in a wide range of activities, from creating NFT art and fan art to organizing in-person events.
🔰Around February 2022 Purchased my first NFT. Began actively participating in the community and sharing my illustrations.
🐻June 2022 Participated in the creation of components for generative NFTs as part of the CNP Project.
🥷Since July 2022 Has been actively participating in the CryptoNinja community. Has taken part in events and competitions to gain support from many community members. Currently, they continue to create fan art for numerous collections.
🎪October 2023 We also participated in the in-person event “NinKetto,” where we interacted with fellow creators in person and expanded the scope of our activities.
📖 November 2024: I’ve started working on a picture book featuring CNP characters. I’m making steady progress, one step at a time.
Activities involving NFT illustrations
Creating components for generative NFTs
Tsumasan has been involved in creating components for projects such as “CNP,” “CNP Baby,” and “Furusato CNP,” and has also participated as a component creator in other generative NFT projects, such as “Metabatch,” playing a vital behind-the-scenes role.
NFT Sales and Artwork
In 2022, the “I-Doll-Idol” collection was released. Rather than simply being sold, it featured a unique design that allowed the NFTs to transform into “idol forms” through secondary trading. The system, which allowed users to assign names and group affiliations to the characters, made this a groundbreaking and innovative NFT project.
As part of the “N-GiFT Project,” she collaborated with other creators to produce a collection. Tsumasan released limited-edition NFTs featuring birth flowers and Halloween themes.
In-person events and networking
He actively participates in events like “NinKetto” and “Metaverse Hatsumode,” enjoying the interaction within the NFT community. As a collector himself, it’s clear that he values connecting with other holders and collaborating with fellow creators.
By creating and selling NFTs that come with physical canvases, he blends the analog and digital worlds, delighting everyone with his illustrations.
Fan Art and Commemorative Illustrations
When it comes to Tsumasan, it’s all about fan art! She creates fan art based on characters from “CryptoNinja” and other collections like “Wafuku Genie,” and submits her work to competitions. Her pieces are incredibly diverse, featuring seasonal themes and stories—from summer-themed “Swimming with Luna♪” to Halloween-themed illustrations. We look forward to seeing more of her illustrations, including her signature cute, soft, and whimsical style.
Birthday Illustration
For close friends and family who post about their birthdays, the artist offers custom illustrations as special birthday gifts. Inspired by avatars and NFTs, these pieces are created with a soft, delicate touch that captures a unique sense of charm. The artist is known for creating heartwarming, intimate artwork. Printed versions of these illustrations are also available for purchase.
Writing picture books
We are currently working on a picture book featuring the CNP characters. We are approaching each project with great care, driven by the determination to “do our best, believing that we will see it through to completion.”
Other Activities
They shared their dream and feelings about wanting to become the owner of CryptoNinja’s new character, “Oiran-chan,” and I could really feel their love for CryptoNinja. It seems they had considered passing on the opportunity because they felt they were “always just a figure in the background,” but I was truly impressed by their determination to “go for it anyway!”
It’s clear that they’re enjoying their activities while deepening their connections with creators and collectors through fan art and birthday illustrations.
I hope they continue their creative work while cherishing this attitude of enjoying NFTs.
I met you at the event
I’ve actually met Tsumasan in person. When she was participating in Ninket, I stopped by her booth to pick up a bonus sticker. Even though it was our first time talking, her kind and gentle demeanor made me feel so at ease that we ended up chatting about all sorts of things. She used to be a graphic designer, and since I’ve dabbled in design myself, we had a really enjoyable conversation. I’m looking forward to seeing her again someday!
